Susan's Story

"I was in a pretty bad place," recalls Susan – a mom, personal trainer, and full-time student studying physical therapy. "I had undergone a breast augmentation 3 months prior that was terrible." Her previous plastic surgeon said that he'd need to overfill her implants to keep them from rippling, but, "what he didn't tell me was that he detached my pectoralis major muscles in the center [at the sternum] to make room for the overly inflated implants. They were huge, very hard, and extremely uncomfortable." Read More

Catherine's Story

"I was self conscious about my body before my breast augmentation; but afterwards I was still self conscious, just in a different way," recalls Catherine a 24-year-old, married, college graduate. About 3 years earlier, she had a breast augmentation to create a balanced look that complimented her small frame. "I went from having nothing to 'Whoa!'," she recalls. "At first I was OK with my breasts even though they were larger than I had wanted. But over the next couple of years, the implants began to fall." Read More

In addition to her hair, clothes, and makeup, she felt that her body needed to project an image of perfection, as well. "Having full breasts was something that I felt I needed in order to complete the beautiful image I wanted to project," Beverly said. Read More

As a busy CPA with a business of her own, she has always made sure to take care of herself by working out regularly. When she had her first baby 5 years after her breast surgery, she successfully breastfed her daughter and noticed a slight decrease in breast size after she stopped nursing. Kathe had her second baby 3 years later, and was able to breastfeed him as well. "My daughter was a normal eater, but my son, he ate a lot. My breasts got pretty big when I was breastfeeding him and got a lot smaller after I stopped," Kathe recalls. Read More

Veronica's Story

"When I was 13, my breasts were a size DD," recalls Veronica, now age 51. "Having such large breasts had always bothered me physically and made me feel very self-conscious.
